Eatman Associates - Manufacturers' Representatives – Dallas TX – Houston TX

Jim Eatman – President, Dallas TX - is retiring on September 15, 2019

        I have been working since I was 16 years old, and the time has come.   I wish to thank my customers over all of these years:

- those who bought groceries from Rice Food Market in Houston when I worked there as a produce clerk and stocker during high school

- those who bought hi-fi / stereo equipment from me at Sound Center in College Station TX, when I was in college at Texas A&M

- those who bought semiconductors from me when I was a Field Sales Engineer in Minneapolis for Texas Instruments from 1976 through 1983.

- those who bought custom components and PC boards from me during my rep business days, 1988 - 2019.

      The old adage is that "The customer is always right."   Over the last 50 years, I have found that this is inaccurate.  It's only true 95% of the time .   

      For all of the supervisors, and for all of the owners and sales managers for the companies I represented for the last 31 years...  God Bless You

      Alas, we all get old if we are lucky.   I have been very fortunate.

      May the road rise up to meet you.
      May the wind always be at your back.
      May the sun shine warm upon your face,
      and rains fall soft upon your fields.
